This is the last stop of our journey together. I hope you enjoyed your visit. This is my tomb stone in Camperdown Cemetery, Sydney, Australia. I died on January 6, 1856 at the Royal Hotel. My death left my wife heartbroken but she made me an elaborated tomb. At my burial, a choir sang an arrangement I composed three days before my death. Also an orchestral piece was played during the cemetery. Over the years, somebody decided to deface my grave which I think is very rude and disrespectful. Well au revior my friend.

This a photo of my lovely wife, Anna Bishop. She was the wife of a guy named Henry Bishop until I eloped with her. We toured every where except France of course. I knew marrying her could get me into a lot of trouble but I didn't care. She was the last person I was with before I passed away. She'll always be the love of my life.

This is where I had my last performance before I died. On December 22, 1855 I performed at the Royal Theater in Sydney, Australia. I conducted the orchestra and provided piano accompaniments for my wife. I had promised a harp performance but I was just too ill to perform it. At least I played with my wife for the last time.

The picture shown above is the Royal Academy of Music located in London, England. In 1822, I became a professor and secretary here. But this ended five years later because of my character. People those days couldn't take a little joke. sucks for them. Anyways, The Royal Academy of Music was founded by John Fane in 1822. The academy is still standing today and harp is still a large part of it.

I was an appointed harpist for Napoleon I. This nobility alliance allowed me to stay the harpist for Louis XVIII and the Duc de Berri. I also made harp playing a craze since he played for the higher up people. I eventually restored the harp to being back popular which led to people wanting lessons all the time. Even after Napoleon's ruling ended, I still played harp at the palace.

The Paris Conservatory is where I began to put my focus on playing the harp. I got a scholarship off of My opera "Trojan". Trojan was dedicated to Napolean. He liked it so well, he gave me the scholarship. The Paris Conservatory was founded in 1795 and still stands today. Its a college of music and dance and as you can see I went there for music, specifically for the harp.

Montmedy, France is being shown above. The citadel is located in Lorraine in North-Eastern France. It's also the citadel that I was born in. During my lifetime , I didn't stay here. King louis XVI was supposeed to live there but his family never made it. Today the citadel is still used as a place to live even though some of the buildings aren't in the best of shape.
